Past Event

Indonesia has made history in at the World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC) World final after one of the team members I Nyoman “Alit” Jiwandana, managed to occupy the runner up position in Flight A (HC 0-5) with a nett score with a net score for four rounds 70-73-70-75 (288). This score is the same as that achieved by the champion in that flight, Mohd. Firdaus bin Ahmad from Malaysia, but Alit lost in the count back calculation.

“Thank you WAGC Malaysia 2022 for the amazing experience! Finishing in the second place dan bringing home the trophy” said Alit.

“The last day (18/11) playing at Garden Course Glenmarie Golf which it was in a beautiful condition, I think this’ll be my favorite course when I’m playing in WAGC! The grass from tee to green is the same as BSD so the adjustment is not too hard even though I haven’t practiced. Playing gross 72 nett 70” he added.

Alit suggests other Indonesian golfers to participate in WAGC.

“If there’s a tournament that has WAGC logo on it, you have to take part! Who knows, maybe you might win and get a ticket to WAGC next year. This is not just a golf tournament between countries, this is like a very exciting and memorable state festival” added the founder of @maingolfyuk!
